The Used

So I got to see the Used. I was so happy to finally see them. Well, technically I've seen them twice before. But I wasn't as obsessed with them then as I am now. Haha. So this was the first time that I've seen them where I know the words to every song. I'm a nerd, I know. It was a stressful day since Heather called and said she was sick and throwing up and couldn't go. The show was at a venue in Toms River, NJ. So I didn't want to be late! I called Kymm and she was in the city getting her and Kevin's wedding bands. So I had to wait until she got home before we could leave. Luckily we got to the show in time and didn't miss anything. Which actually would've been fine b/c there were 3 opening bands and they were all equally horrible. But it was a blasty-blast.

Atlantic City

Ok so Nikki and I have been planning this trip to A.C. for so long. She got free rooms with her card. She gets them all the time. I seem to never do. So we finally got here. As you can tell, we were more than excited...

We stayed at Caesar's. Which is awesome. But the one problem I had, was that the window to the room, looked out in to the lobby. So we didn't have any concept of time or if it was even sunny outside. That weirded me out a lot.




Then we went to the new pier that they've been building for years on the boardwalk outside of Caesar's. It had all these fancy shops that were selling things way too expensive for us. But we had fun hanging out at the end of the pier looking at everything.

And I just love being on the boardwalk and at the beach. I kind of like that the winter time is here b/c it makes you appreciate the summer that much more. Haha. Just being on the beach and feeling the sand and smelling the ocean and hearing the waves. It's like you experience it for the first time all over again!

We went to this place called the Irish Pub. It's right behind the Claridge Casino right off the boardwalk. The food was excellent! And I bought a shirt.




We had to pose in front of the Caesar statue b/c we looked at him the whole time we were in our room. Since we didn't really have much else to look at.

The one thing I said I wanted to do was go on the beach at night. I freakin love it! It was cold but I didn't care. This is me running towards the water. You can barely see me.

I was cracking up b/c Nikki was collecting shells for some reason. And then the water attacked her! It came up towards her out of nowhere and her jeans and flip flops got soaked and covered in sand. But it's ok. We were laughing the entire time.

She wrote Nix3000, foo! in the sand. Look at all the shells. That must suck when you're trying to swim. Gross.

We went back to the beach before we left in the day time to get some pictures. It was still a little cold on the beach, but some people were laying out! As you can see, I kept my hoodie on.
