In the works....

I've been so busy with behind the scenes stuff lately. Working on a bunch of different projects. I've been getting a lot of local gigs for my stand up. So if you ever wanna come, you can check out my schedule at www.myspace.com/jeffsolescomedy. The link is on the right, too. I'm filming a movie right now called The Retreatists. My friends from Temple are making it. Very low budget and very indie movie making, but at the same time, very exciting! It's not a comedy, trust me. So I get to do something different. It's about kids struggling with drugs and alcohol and the different stages of coping with all that. I had a picture on my facebook and myspace from the one night we were shooting. My face looks all messed up. Thankfully, it was just make up. But hey, it was fun making people think I really got messed up! lol. So a little spoiler, I get my ass kicked while I'm drunk as hell.
I make my mother proud, what can I say?
Also on the horizon, is Wawapalooza 3: The Dark Roast. I love working with these kids, so I'm so excited for this year! Every year it just gets better and better. I can't wait. I had a meeting with them last night to select which sketches we want to do this year. There was about 16 of them and we had to pick a few. The ones we picked are awesome. And another spoiler, I might be playing a 15 year old girl. Oh no! Me in drag!

Party!

Today was little Mackenzie's Christening party. It was miserable out, but we still had a good time!
Here's Jen and myself on the way there.

I was sick all week, but luckily it went away so I got to hang out with my little peanut butter and jelly sandwich!
And what's up with my face?!

Mackenzie's first "myspace angle" photo.

But, the one that stole the show from Mac, was none other than the cutiest little thing, Bailey. I managed to sneak in a quick pic of her and her poppy.

Ian was playing a song on his phone so she got up on the table and did her thing! She had everyone's attention and loved it.

And these two were inseperable. You can tell Aidan had a good time because he's drenched in sweat. He always is after every party. He knows how to have a good time!

Mackenzie's Christening

Every time I talk about Mackenzie, I feel I need to have the font in pink. Anyway, today was the little girl's Christening. She did so good. She didn't cry. Just a few grunts here and there. Typical Mackenzie. Katie and I crack up everytime she does it. It was quick and painless. Well I did get "yelled" at by the priest a couple times. One for not being loud enough when I said yes, even though I clearly said yes and nodded my head. Then I was told I looked like I was "out in left field" he said. Even though I was completely paying attention for once! So I can't catch a break. And it's a wonder why I get anxiety when I'm around priests. They hate me.
So I guess I'm a godparent now. He told Meghan and I that we have to write letters to Mackenzie within the week so that she keeps that with her for the rest of her life to refer to when she needs it. Ummmmmm, can't she just call me? I'm gonna be there for this girl no matter what.
I was holding her hand. She was stressed out b/c the mean priest was holding her. I told her it was ok. Just breathe.
